Our Role: AECB certifier and Whole Life Carbon Consultant – RIBA Stages 3 & 4

Delta Q has been appointed to two independent yet interrelated roles. As the AECB certifier, we provide an impartial review of design information and PHPP models to ensure the project aligns with the AECB Building Standard, offering technical guidance to architects and engineers on both design and PHPP modelling.

In our role as Whole Life Carbon (WLC) assessor, we utilise PH Ribbon, a PHPP plugin tool, to calculate and advise on the WLC impacts of the design, ensuring compliance with the university’s sustainability guidelines. These two roles intersect through the use of operational energy data from the PHPP model for the WLC calculations.
