Hounsome Fields is a new 420-place Passivhaus Primary School, featuring dedicated facilities for Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision.

Our Role: Supporting the Passivhaus Consultant with specialist advice on Passivhaus MEP & PHPP modelling, RIBA Stages 2-7. Contractor training.

Delta Q is engaged by Greenbox Associates, the Passivhaus Consultant, to provide expert support on the MEP elements of Passivhaus design and PHPP modelling drawing on our extensive experience from previous Passivhaus school projects.

The project is being delivered under a traditional contract, with design responsibility retained by the client’s in-house team, while Passivhaus support is provided through the wider design team. In addition we have worked closely with the Willmott Dixon team to provide detailed design, installation quality, and evidence collection advice.

Delta Q have also delivered bespoke Passivhaus training to the Willmott Dixon construction team as part of a company-wide training initiative.
