Piers Sadler
Founding Director
As the leader of the Delta Q team, Piers inspires and guides talented professionals to achieve excellence in every aspect of their work. He is committed to fostering a culture of high-quality work, exceptional customer service and technical excellence.
By encouraging collaboration, clear communication, meticulous project management, , and a strong focus on customer care, Piers creates a supportive and empowering environment for the team. Together, they strive to deliver outstanding results that meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
Before focusing on low energy buildings, Piers spent over 20 years as an environmental scientist. In 2010, he earned a Masters in Sustainable Building from Oxford Brookes University and established Piers Sadler Consulting (later to become Delta Q). Piers became a certified Passivhaus Designer in 2013 and has specialised in Passivhaus design and construction since. He is also an AECB Certifier, and Professional Trainer in Passivhaus and low energy building with Co-Action Passivhaus Training.

Megan Ancliffe
Senior Consultant
Megan is an Architect with over 12 years’ experience working on a mix of high-rise and large scale residential, infrastructure and community projects. She has worked extensively within Contractor and Client teams focusing on stakeholder engagement and assurance within the detail design and construction phases of projects.
After completing a Masters in Environmental Engineering at UCL, Megan made the move into Passivhaus and low-energy building. Her projects have included two of the largest high-rise Passivhaus projects in Europe as well as student accommodation, social and affordable housing schemes.
Megan has a particular interest in supporting occupants and communities make the transition to low energy living. She spent several years volunteering for the community land trust Rural Urban Synthesis Society (RUSS) in Lewisham, London working with the community on low-energy housing.
Megan is a Certified Passivhaus Designer who has co-presented masterclasses on airtightness and thermal bridging as well as lectures at Westminster University on Passivhaus and low-energy building.

David Bryan
Senior Consultant
David’s background includes engineering and architectural design, with specific experience in designing oak-framed Passivhaus buildings. Dave joined Delta Q in 2021 to specialize in Passivhaus consultancy. His role has evolved into that of a specialist modeller, leveraging his extensive software skills to support the team on a diverse range of projects, including schools, apartment blocks and EnerPHit projects.
Dave excels in creating DesignPH models for large and complex buildings, performing intricate 2D and 3D thermal bridge modelling, and conducting overheating modelling for Passivhaus, TM54, TM59, and Part O, as well as whole life carbon modelling. His expertise significantly reduces the time required to solve complex issues and develop design advice and enables the team to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Dave has been a Certified Passivhaus Consultant since 2014 and is a qualified PHPP Expert. David also keeps his hand in with Passivhaus design and construction, seeing through a number of projects as lead Passivhaus Consultant for Delta Q.

Tristan King
Senior Consultant
Tristan holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on renewable energy. He began his career in the automotive electric vehicle sector before transitioning into the field of Passivhaus and low-energy buildings, with support from DeltaQ. The unique combination of engineering expertise and passion for sustainability shapes his approach to delivering energy-efficient buildings.
Tristan’s portfolio spans a wide variety of projects, including new-build and retrofit Passivhaus schools, as well as the UK’s largest co-housing development
Tristan is committed to demonstrating that achieving low-energy buildings doesn’t have to come with extra costs. By constantly pushing the standards and exploring innovative solutions, he ensures that his clients receive exceptional value for money without compromising on sustainability or performance.
