Jalan House
Designed to meet the Passivhaus Plus standard, Jalan House embodies the client’s vision for a low-energy, low-carbon, and healthy living space that will generate more energy than it consumes
Our Role: Passivhaus Consultants RIBA Stages 4-7 appointed by client
Delta Q played a key role in developing the Stage 4 design, utilising designPH and PHPP models to optimise fabric U-values, thermal bridging, airtightness, windows and doors, summer comfort, ventilation, heating, and domestic hot water. We employed 2D and 3D thermal bridge modelling for design optimisation, heat loss calculation, and surface temperature analysis.
Working with architects and contractors experienced in Passivhaus design ensured the project benefited from a highly skilled team. During construction, we undertook additional thermal bridge modelling for complex junctions, providing expert guidance to optimise performance.
